:: Meghan O'Rourke is from Brooklyn, New York. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The New Republic, Poetry, and other venues. A widely published critic, she contributes frequently to the New York Times Book Review and Slate, where she is also culture editor. She is a poetry editor at The Paris Review and was the recipient of the 2005 Union League Civic and Arts Foundation Award for poetry.
