:: Honor Moore is the author of two collections of poems, Darling (2001) and Memoir (1988), and of The White Blackbird, a life of her grandmother the painter Margarett Sargent, a New York Times Notable Book in 1996. Her play Mourning Pictures was produced on Broadway and her edition of the selected poems of Amy Lowell was published by the Library of America. She teaches in the graduate writing programs at the New School and the School of the Arts at Columbia. She is a 2004 John Simon Guggenheim Fellow and is at work on The Bishop's Daughter, a memoir. She lives in New York City.
