:: Marilyn Hacker teaches English at the City College of New York and lives in New York City and in Paris. She won the National Book Award for Presentation Piece and the Lenore Marshall Award, as well as a Lambda Literary Award, for Winter Numbers. She received the first Robert Fagles Translation Prize for Marie Etienne's King of a Hundred Horsemen. She is a Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets.
