:: Kim Addonizio is the author of three previous books of poetry, including Tell Me, a finalist for the National Book Award; a collection of stories; and, with Dorianne Laux, The Poet's Companion: A Guide to the Pleasures of Writing Poetry. Her awards include two NEA fellowships and a Pushcart Prize. She lives and teaches in Oakland, California.
